Chinese smartphone maker Honor unveiled its self-developed humanoid robot, Lightning, which achieved an astonishing time of 9.32 seconds in the 100m sprint. This remarkable performance not only outpaced the human world record but also garnered attention from China's state broadcaster.

During a preparatory test event for the upcoming second World Humanoid Robot Games, starting this Saturday, Lightning reached a peak speed of 14.5 meters per second. This impressive feat eclipses the previous men’s 100m world record of 9.58 seconds, set by legendary sprinter Usain Bolt 17 years ago at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin.
