Chelsea has received advice to consider Manu Kone as a prime target to fill the potential void left by Enzo Fernandez this summer. Kone's impressive performances at Roma and with the France national team during the World Cup have sparked speculation about his future.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester United is also interested in Kone, although he is just one of several options under evaluation by the Red Devils.

Former Chelsea right-back Glen Johnson has expressed strong support for signing Kone, praising his abilities in an interview with the Metro. Johnson highlighted Kone's strengths:

• Proficient ball usage and passing skills

Johnson stated, "If Enzo leaves, he can be the perfect replacement for sure. His attributes seem to be suited to the Premier League, so I don’t think he will have any issues getting used to the game at all."

Chelsea is actively searching for a new midfielder, having recently had a £64m bid rejected for Alex Scott of Bournemouth. The future of Fernandez remains uncertain, as he has expressed dissatisfaction in recent interviews, leading Chelsea to consider potential upgrades in their squad.
