Dusan Vlahovic’s tenure at Juventus appears to be nearing its conclusion, making the Serbian striker a highly sought-after free agent this summer. Negotiations for a new contract have stalled, as Juventus struggles to meet Vlahovic's financial expectations.

Giorgio Chiellini has confirmed the player's impending departure, marking the end of a journey that began when Juve acquired him from Fiorentina for over €80 million in 2022. The crux of the issue lies in salary; while Juventus proposed a net salary of around €6.5 million per season, Vlahovic sought closer to €8 million plus bonuses, a gap deemed insurmountable given the club's financial constraints after missing out on Champions League qualification.
