Chelsea are reportedly continuing their transfer discussions regarding Maxence Lacroix, the central defender for Crystal Palace. The France international has made a significant impact during his tenure at Selhurst Park, and renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Chelsea’s efforts to secure the player.

Previously, L’Equipe linked Lacroix strongly with Chelsea, suggesting that a potential agreement worth €55m (£47m) could be nearing completion.
