Chelsea has reportedly reached an agreement to sign Valentin Barco from fellow BlueCo club RC Strasbourg this summer, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano. The deal has received Romano's signature ‘here we go’ confirmation, indicating that the talented 21-year-old midfielder will be joining Stamford Bridge soon.

Previously, it was noted that Chelsea had shown interest in Barco, who also attracted attention from Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid. Now, Romano has confirmed that the transfer is nearly finalized, stating:

Despite Barco's impressive season, contributing four goals and four assists primarily in a defensive midfield role, some Chelsea supporters might express skepticism regarding another youth-focused signing.
