Cameron triumphed by unanimous decision at MPW-06 in Birmingham on Saturday, securing the WBA, WBC, and WBO super-welterweight world champion titles.

In a closely contested match, Cameron edged out Mayer with the judges scoring it 97-93, 97-93, and 96-94, further enhancing her impressive record. This victory solidifies her status as a top contender, highlighted by her distinction as the only woman to defeat the legendary Katie Taylor in her professional career.

With this win, Cameron has set her sights on the self-proclaimed 'GWOAT' (Greatest Woman of All Time), Claressa Shields, who boasts an unblemished record of 19-0 across multiple weight divisions. While many anticipated a rematch with Mayer, Cameron expressed her eagerness for the challenge, stating, "I fancy (fighting) Clarissa Shields. I think I really do want to dare to be great."

Cameron revealed that her management is in advanced talks regarding this potential matchup, describing it as an incredible opportunity to face the very best in women's boxing. She stated, "The teams are actually in talks for that now... it is a very high possibility the fight will happen."

Meanwhile, Shields has expressed interest in fighting Lauren Price, aiming for a bout between December and January. Shields' promoter, Dmitriy Salita, emphasized the desire to host this mega-event in the United States, although he acknowledged the growing prominence of women's boxing in the UK.
