Wrexham achieved a significant milestone by claiming their first Championship victory of the season with a commanding 3-0 win over an injury-stricken Millwall on Wednesday.

After drawing against Cardiff and Watford, and suffering a defeat to Birmingham, Wrexham bounced back impressively in south London. This triumph marks a crucial step in their quest for promotion to the Premier League after narrowly missing out on the playoffs last season.

Key highlights of the match include:

• Zak Sturge of Millwall inadvertently deflected Issa Kaboré’s cross into his own net, giving Wrexham the lead in the first half.
• Kieffer Moore doubled the advantage with a powerful strike from 20 yards shortly after halftime.

Millwall, who started the season with two clean sheets in wins over Bristol City and Norwich, faced a tough challenge, conceding eight goals in their last two matches, including a 5-1 defeat to Southampton.
