Caroline Dubois expressed her frustration over the stalled negotiations for a unification bout against IBF champion Elif Nur Turhan, who she criticized for her exorbitant financial demands. Dubois is eager to unify the belts after successfully defending her WBC and WBO lightweight titles against Terri Harper by unanimous decision in April.

Set to return as the UK's unified champion, Dubois will face Amelia Moore in a 10-round unified championship defense at the bp pulse LIVE arena in Birmingham on August 29. This match is part of the MVPW-06 event, which features UK vs USA contests.

Despite her success, Dubois feels let down by Turhan’s demands, labeling them as "astronomical" and "absurd." She stated, "I don't even know what happened... She asked for such an astronomical, ridiculous amount. It wasn't even a laugh out of the room."

Dubois is confident that she will eventually fight Turhan but is focusing on her plans to face Stephanie Han later this year. She commented, "I know that I'm going to fight Stephanie Han after this and that's the plan for me."

Dubois regards Han, an undefeated American boxer and police officer, as a promising opponent, having witnessed her recent victory in a controversial rematch against Holly Holm. Dubois remarked, "I shook her hand afterwards and we pretty much agreed to the fight... I believe her."

Looking ahead, Dubois aims to secure the fight with Han before the end of the year, emphasizing her commitment to fulfill her contractual obligation of three fights within the year. "It has to happen before the end of this year," she asserted.

With a clear vision for her next steps, Dubois remains determined to climb the ranks in her pursuit of becoming the undisputed champion.
