Bruno Guimaraes delivered a breathtaking goal from outside the box, sealing a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory for Arsenal against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on October 10, 2026.

The match began with a surprising turn as James Justin put Leeds ahead, silencing the North London crowd with a goal from Gabriel Gudmundsson’s low cross. However, Arsenal responded quickly. Just seven minutes later, Riccardo Calafiori leveled the score, converting a cushioned header from Ben White inside the box.

With the match finely poised, Mikel Arteta brought on Guimaraes, who made an immediate impact. After taking a quick restart, he surged forward and received a clever flick from Declan Rice, setting up a powerful first-time strike that found the bottom corner, beating James Trafford.

This goal marked yet another pivotal moment for Guimaraes, who has established himself as a difference maker for Arsenal. Both of his goals in an Arsenal shirt have come from distance, both assisted by Rice, and both proved vital for securing victories.

Guimaraes' latest long-range effort not only showcased his talent but also helped Arsenal maintain their strong position near the top of the Premier League table alongside Manchester City. With his knack for delivering in high-pressure situations, Guimaraes continues to be a crucial asset for Arteta's squad.
