Brighton and Hove Albion continues to impress in the Premier League, celebrating a fourth consecutive victory after defeating Crystal Palace 5-0, bringing their aggregate score to an astonishing 15-0 over this stretch. The match featured standout performances, including Jack Hinshelwood's decisive goal and Diego Gomez's remarkable strike from midfield.

Under the guidance of manager Fabian Hurzeler, Brighton has established itself as one of the most dynamic teams this season, boasting the highest goals scored and the fewest conceded. Currently sitting third with 16 points, they trail only Arsenal and Manchester City.

Dion Dublin, a pundit and former title winner, expressed confidence in Brighton's potential, highlighting the team's synergy and tactical decisions. The Seagulls have effectively adapted after losing key players like Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck, with Charalampos Kostoulas emerging as a promising replacement, contributing three goals and two assists.

Brighton showcases a well-rounded attack, with 11 different league scorers and notable contributions from players like Hinshelwood and Pascal Gross. They rank high in offensive statistics, trailing only Barcelona in total league goals among the top five European leagues.

Defensively, they have maintained five clean sheets despite injuries to key defenders. The club's recruitment strategy, led by owner Tony Bloom, has proven effective, acquiring talents like Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur.

Historically, teams scoring 23 or more goals after seven matches have typically finished in the top three, with only Newcastle United's 1994-95 season as an outlier. Alan Wares of the Albion Roar podcast suggests that while a title challenge may be ambitious, a Champions League spot is a realistic goal.

As Brighton navigates the season, the focus remains on sustainability and continued success, echoing the sentiment of many fans:

Why not?
