Boxer Lee Reeves is currently in a "stable but critical condition" following a knockout during his fight against Gary Cully at the 3Arena in Dublin on Saturday night. The bout, which was for the BUI Celtic super-lightweight title, concluded in the 10th round when Reeves was struck by a powerful left hand from Cully.

After the knockout, Reeves was immediately attended to and stretchered out of the ring before being transported to the hospital for further evaluation. He was treated with oxygen ringside to stabilize his condition.

In an official statement, Queensberry Promotions confirmed:

Lee Reeves is still in hospital, in a critical but stable condition. We will know more in the coming days, and our thoughts and prayers remain with Lee and his family.

Frank Warren, the founder of Queensberry, also expressed concern on social media, stating:

All our thoughts and prayers are with Lee Reeves and his family at this time as he remains in hospital. Everyone at Queensberry is thinking of him and we're in constant contact with his team regarding his condition as we hope for positive news.

With his victory, Cully improved his record to 20-2, but he took a moment to reflect on Reeves’ performance.

My prayers and thoughts are with Lee Reeves, hopefully he's OK, He came in there as a big underdog after fighting relatively at a lower level up until now. But he really showed that he can operate at a higher level. Huge credit to him.
