Ryan Christie delivered a stunning performance, scoring a hat-trick that led Bournemouth to a commanding 4-0 victory over Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup third round on October 25, 2023. This match marked Marco Rose's first win as Bournemouth's manager, showcasing a strong display against the Sky Bet Championship side.

Christie opened the scoring early in the seventh minute, finishing from close range after a precise cross from Ben Gannon-Doak. Despite Lincoln's bright start, Bournemouth quickly asserted their dominance, with Christie netting again in the 69th minute, heading in from a corner taken by David Brooks.

In the 88th minute, Christie completed his hat-trick with a deflected shot from 14 yards, demonstrating his clinical finishing ability. Rayan, who came off the bench, capped off the scoring with a tidy finish in stoppage time, sealing the 4-0 result.

Key highlights from the match include:

• Christie's goals at the 7th, 69th, and 88th minutes.
• Rayan's late goal in stoppage time.
• The debut of on-loan Michele Di Gregorio in goal for Bournemouth.
• A frustrating day for Alvaro Rodriguez, who made his first start but struggled to find the net.

Despite this convincing win, Rose will aim to address his side's earlier Premier League performances, where they earned just two points from three matches, having conceded late goals against Manchester City, Everton, and Newcastle.
