Turkish interest in Dusan Vlahovic has resurfaced, as Besiktas president Serdal Adali confirmed the club's focus on the Serbian striker during a recent press conference.

The chairman addressed the club's decision to bypass the opportunity to sign Mohamed Salah, who recently joined Trabzonspor. Adali clarified, "We didn't want this transfer. We didn't sign this player. It's said that Besiktas missed out on the deal, but that's not the case: we were the ones who walked away from the negotiating table."

Adali further emphasized the club's commitment to Vlahovic, stating, "Our interest is in Vlahović; we are working and are in negotiations with him." This signals a strategic pivot for Besiktas as they aim to secure the talented striker.

Additionally, Adali dismissed rumors regarding Brahim Diaz, reiterating that he is not on their list of transfer targets. He also provided an update on other transfer market movements, specifically mentioning Leandro Trossard:

For Trossard's registration, we are awaiting authorization from England. There's the time difference to consider, but he will be available from the second match. Nobody should lose heart.
