Arsenal faces a daunting challenge as they visit Bayern Munich in the Champions League, with previous encounters weighing heavily on their minds. The last three trips to Munich have resulted in disappointing outcomes for Arsenal: 0-1 in 2024, 1-5 in 2017, and another 1-5 in 2015.

However, Arsenal enters this match on a high note, having secured victory in 10 of their last 11 games across all competitions. Their recent form includes a strong performance against Bayern in their last meeting, where they triumphed 3-1 at the Emirates in November.

On the other side, Bayern Munich is not performing at their usual dominant level. Despite a resounding 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig, they have struggled recently, dropping points in the Bundesliga with a 2-2 draw against Augsburg and barely managing a 3-3 draw against Viking last week.

Both teams bring a mix of strengths and weaknesses into this matchup, setting the stage for an intriguing contest. Kick-off is at 8pm BST. Fans eagerly await to see if Arsenal can finally overcome their Munich curse.
