Barcelona's Anthony Gordon gears up for an exhilarating week, facing Paris St-Germain on Tuesday, Real Madrid on Sunday, and the Ballon d'Or ceremony on Monday. Gordon, who played the full 90 minutes against PSG, is expected to play a pivotal role in the upcoming El Clasico.

Gordon has expressed his ambitions regarding the Ballon d'Or, stating, "I've always dreamt of that since a kid... I believe anyone can achieve anything they put their mind to - they just need a lot of luck." His self-confidence and commitment to improvement have propelled him to new heights this year, despite critics questioning the feasibility of his dreams.

Barcelona's investment of £69.3m in Gordon, a surprise signing from Newcastle, reflects their belief in his potential. After a stellar World Cup campaign where he scored in the semi-final against Argentina, he made an immediate impact at Barcelona with two assists on his debut and four assists in 10 LaLiga appearances.

Gordon acknowledges the influence of teammates like Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, saying, "Playing alongside electric talents is having an impact on me." He appreciates Barcelona's dominant style of play compared to the intense, back-and-forth games at Newcastle, which has allowed him to showcase more dimensions of his game.

With Hansi Flick, Barcelona's manager, praising Gordon's speed and dribbling, the young winger is poised to be a significant threat against Real Madrid. As the teams clash at Spotify Camp Nou, Gordon will have the opportunity to display his rising talent on one of football's grandest stages.
