Barcelona has intensified their efforts in the transfer market, focusing on emerging young talents. Under the guidance of Director of Football Deco, the club has made several strategic signings of teenage prospects from Europe and Africa.

The latest player on their radar is Samuele Inacio, an 18-year-old playmaker from Borussia Dortmund, who is considered one of the top talents in his age group globally. Inacio is currently at the center of an international tug-of-war between Italy and Brazil for his national allegiance.

Recent reports from BILD (via MD) indicate that Barcelona is looking to acquire Inacio, either by paying a modest fee or potentially signing him for free next summer when his contract expires. The club has reportedly contacted his agents and proposed that Inacio join Barca Atletic while training with the first team.

Inacio faces competition for his signature, as Paris Saint-Germain has made a similar offer. Meanwhile, Dortmund is not willing to let him go easily, having presented him with a contract offer that raises his salary from €150k to €500k per annum, alongside a first-team role.

As an attacking midfielder who can also operate on the wing, Inacio has already made a mark by scoring on his debut for Italy’s under-19 side. He debuted for Dortmund against Bayern Munich in February and has since made four senior appearances, including his first start against Freiburg last weekend.
