Deco highlighted the importance of a fresh generation of La Masia academy graduates, including talents like Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi, and Fermin Lopez, stating, "This is the beginning of the history of this team."

Deco remarked:

It is true that we won two La Ligas, but these players want to win more. If the players believe they can achieve more, they still want to do something important.
