Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, former teammates with the Miami Heat, engaged in a physical altercation on Friday morning at a practice court in Las Vegas, according to reports from ESPN. The incident unfolded after Adebayo confronted Herro regarding recent comments made by Herro on social media.

The altercation occurred in front of Herro's AAU team, as both players are in Las Vegas for the NBA's Summer League. This confrontation comes shortly after Herro was traded from the Heat to the Milwaukee Bucks last month in a significant deal involving Giannis Antetokounmpo, marking the end of his tenure alongside Adebayo.

The Miami Heat acknowledged the incident but opted not to comment further, stating that they are aware of the situation. Herro also refrained from commenting when approached by Ira Winderman of the Sun-Sentinel.

Bam Adebayo, 28, was drafted by the Heat as the No. 14 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He has since established himself as a key player, earning three All-Star selections and six NBA All-Defense nods. Adebayo signed a lucrative three-year, $165 million extension in 2024, set to run through the 2028-29 season, positioning him as a cornerstone for Miami's future alongside Antetokounmpo.

Tyler Herro, 26, was selected as the No. 13 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He received the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2022 and made his first All-Star appearance in 2025, although he has faced criticism for his defensive performance, especially in the playoffs.
