The Rugby League World Cup heats up as the Australian Jillaroos prepare to face England for the first time since their historic encounter in Las Vegas in 2025, where Australia triumphed with a staggering score of 90-4. Tonight's match promises excitement as both teams look to build on their impressive performances in round 1.

In their opening games:

• Australia showcased their dominance by defeating Samoa with a final score of 40-0, overcoming an initially error-prone start.
• England delivered a powerful performance against Wales, winning 70-6, with Isabel Rowe shining as a standout player, scoring two tries and converting nine.

Rowe, a 19-year-old halfback from the Wigan Warriors, is expected to play a crucial role in England's strategy against the reigning champions.

The match takes place in Perth, a city not traditionally known for rugby league, but with the Perth Bears set to join the NRLM next year, this game serves as a vital opportunity to attract new fans.

With both teams coming off dominant victories, the anticipation for this clash continues to grow. Fans can expect an intense showdown as the Jillaroos and England vie for supremacy in this pivotal World Cup match.
