After their impressive 3-0 win over Freiburg on Wednesday, McGinn playfully asked the royal supporter to bring out his credit card for the post-match festivities. Goals from Youri Tielemans, Emiliano Buendia, and Morgan Rogers secured the title, with Prince William, a dedicated Villa fan, cheering enthusiastically from the stands.

Speaking to TNT Sports, McGinn praised the royal, calling him "a classy guy" who was present in the dressing room before the match. He expressed appreciation for the support, stating:

"He is a massive Villa fan so he was never going to miss it. It’s great to have his support and hopefully it continues."

The royal later took to social media to celebrate the victory, congratulating the players and staff. He highlighted the significance of the win, noting:

"44 years since the last taste of European silverware! Special shout out to Boubacar Kamara who has been out injured but is such an integral part of our team."
