Artur Dmitriev, the legendary Russian figure skater and two-time Olympic pairs champion, has passed away at the age of 58. His death was confirmed by the Russian Figure Skating Federation in an official statement.

Dmitriev made history as the first figure skater to win Olympic gold with two different partners. He achieved his first gold medal with Natalia Mishkutionok for the Unified Team at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. Eight years later, he secured his second gold medal with Oksana Kazakova during the 1998 Nagano Games, representing Russia.
