Arsenal has scheduled a medical and contract signing for Christos Tzolis after the player turned down other offers to join the Gunners. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Greece international is set to make the move from Club Brugge in a €40m deal, with all arrangements seemingly in place.

The transfer appears to have been straightforward, as Brugge stood firm on their asking price, which Arsenal was ready to meet. Romano shared insights on his YouTube channel, stating:

Tzolis is a new Arsenal player, and it’s a here we go. Agreement done on a 40 million euros deal. There was almost no negotiation because the asking price was always €40m. Brugge didn’t want to negotiate on that.

Despite interest from clubs in Italy and Germany, Tzolis made it clear he wanted to join Arsenal, stating, "I’m sorry, thanks, but I want to go to Arsenal. Only Arsenal." This decisive move has led to the medical test and contract signing being booked.

The 24-year-old winger is expected to fill the void left by Leandro Trossard, who transferred to Besiktas. Tzolis has shown impressive statistics at Brugge, with a record of 21 goals in 56 games for the 2024/25 season and 22 goals in 52 games for the 2025/26 season.

As Arsenal prepares for Tzolis's arrival, they are also expected to address their centre-back situation, depending on the severity of William Saliba’s injury, while looking for additional signings in the attacking midfield area.
