Arsenal is closely monitoring Pio Esposito, the emerging striker from Inter Milan and the Italy national team. During the recent international break, Esposito shone brightly, scoring in Italy's 4-1 victory over Turkey. Although scouts initially focused on Arda Guler of Real Madrid, it was Esposito who captured their attention with his performance.

The report from TeamTalk highlights that Arsenal has been tracking Esposito throughout the Serie A season, with positive evaluations following his strong start.

Key points include:

• Esposito's scoring ability is becoming increasingly evident, showcasing qualities of the elusive number 9 Arsenal has been searching for.
• Last season, he concluded with ten goals, and so far this year, he has netted two goals in five matches.
• Arsenal currently relies on Kai Havertz for their attacking needs but is still in search of an elite striker to elevate their performance.
• Esposito's growing reputation ensures that he won’t come cheap, especially after signing a new contract last summer, with Inter Milan keenly aware of his talent.

If Esposito continues to impress, he could very well become Arsenal's next strategic signing in their pursuit of a top-tier forward.
