Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly eyeing Kevin Schade, the talented winger from Brentford, as both clubs explore potential attacking reinforcements ahead of the January transfer window.

According to TEAMtalk, the Premier League giants are among the frontrunners to secure the German international’s signature, although Brentford is determined to keep one of their key players.

Kevin Schade, 24, has made an impressive start to the season, netting three goals in six league appearances and helping Brentford maintain an unbeaten record. His pace, physicality, and versatility across the forward line have elevated his status as an appealing target for teams seeking to enhance their attacking depth.

• Liverpool could greatly benefit from Schade, aiming to add more versatility to their attack.
• His capability to play on either flank may provide the Reds with increased tactical flexibility.
• Arsenal is also keen, having monitored his situation during the previous transfer window, with Mikel Arteta viewing him as a valuable addition to their attacking options.

However, acquiring Schade won’t be easy. Brentford is reportedly seeking over £60m for the winger, complicating potential negotiations. Furthermore, the West London club has initiated talks for a new contract, with Schade’s current deal lasting until summer 2028. This move aims to strengthen their negotiating position and signal their intent to retain him.

Other clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, have also shown interest in the German, intensifying the competition for his services. Thus, Liverpool and Arsenal may face a challenging transfer battle if they formalize their interest, as Brentford is unlikely to part with a key attacker mid-season, making a summer transfer more feasible unless negotiations take an unexpected turn.
