Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan shared insights with talkSPORT, suggesting that if Ronald Koeman vacates his position after the upcoming World Cup, a vacancy could arise with the Dutch national team. Van der Kraan stated:

"If Ronald Koeman steps down after the World Cup… there is a vacancy at the Dutch national team. I think Arne Slot is very, very much up for that; he’s probably the ideal candidate. He can play his Dutch style of football – the passing, attacking style, whatever you call it. I think the Dutch would be happy to have him."

As Slot navigates his next steps, Fulham must now pivot and search for a suitable replacement for Silva, who has moved on to manage Benfica.
