Manchester City has officially signed Anna Moorhouse, the England goalkeeper, on a short-term loan from Orlando Pride. This agreement lasts until January and is pending international clearance.

At 31 years old, Moorhouse has made a significant impact in the National Women's Soccer League since her move from Bordeaux to Orlando Pride in January 2022. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in helping the team secure both the NWSL Shield and the NWSL Championship in 2024.

Her impressive performances earned her a spot in the England squad that same year, adding to her two England caps. Moorhouse, originally from Oldham, was also a member of the Lionesses team that triumphed at Euro 2025.

Moorhouse's experience includes stints at other prominent clubs such as Arsenal and West Ham, showcasing her versatility and skill as a goalkeeper. With her arrival, Manchester City aims to bolster their squad as they continue their campaign in the Women's Super League.
