Alisson expressed frustration after Liverpool's recent draw against Fulham, highlighting their unbeaten start with three draws as not something to celebrate. He emphasized the need for higher ambitions, especially with a squad featuring three forwards each valued over £100 million.

As Andoni Iraola prepares to face his former club Bournemouth on Sunday, he acknowledges the challenge ahead. Despite knowing the strengths and weaknesses of his old team, he admits, "It’s going to be tricky because they know very well what we try to do."

Iraola's departure from Bournemouth was smooth, allowing him to provide valuable insights to his successor, Marco Rose. Last season, Iraola's Bournemouth led the Premier League with 18 draws, a record that demonstrates his tactical approach. His last 38 league games resulted in 21 draws, tying him with Mark Hughes for the Premier League record.

At Liverpool, the pressure is mounting as they trail behind Arsenal and Manchester City. Iraola understands the differing expectations: a draw at Bournemouth might signify progress, but at Liverpool, it is seen as a setback. He remarked, "When you draw 2-2 at Newcastle with Bournemouth, it is probably a good result, but... with Liverpool it is not."

After a disappointing performance against Fulham, the team appeared rejuvenated in their Carabao Cup victory over Tottenham, with young players like Lewis Koumas and James McConnell stepping up. Iraola is now tasked with balancing his squad and adapting to player strengths, emphasizing that every player must meet the same demands regardless of their price tag.

As he navigates this learning curve, Iraola remains committed to maximizing his squad's potential, aware that the demands at Liverpool require swift adaptation and improvement.
