Amy Hunt showcased her exceptional form by finishing second in the 100m at the Diamond League Final in Brussels. She clocked a time of 11.06s, narrowly edging out former world champion Sha’Carri Richardson, who finished in 11.07s. The race was dominated by Tina Clayton from Jamaica, who won her first title with an impressive 10.93s.

This successful weekend also saw Hunt secure third place in the 100m on Friday night, marking a standout performance.

In contrast, Georgia Hunter Bell struggled in the 1,500m, appearing fatigued and fading in the final stretch. Despite a stellar season that included Commonwealth gold in the 800m and European gold in the 1,500m, she admitted to feeling tired and was unable to replicate her earlier successes. She finished over two seconds behind Poland’s Klaudia Kazimierska, who set a new meeting and national record with a world-leading time of 3:54.05. Dorcus Ewoi from Kenya secured second place, while Jess Hull of Australia finished fourth.

In the women’s 800m, Audrey Werro claimed victory with a meeting record of 1:54.75, closely followed by Dutch star Femke Broeders-Bol in 1:54.81.

In the men’s events, Kenny Bednarek dominated the 200m with a time of 19.61s, while Masai Russell won the 100m hurdles in a new meeting record of 12.20s. Alison dos Santos from Brazil excelled in the 400m hurdles, winning in 46.70s and breaking a long-standing meeting record.
