Amanda Serrano is set to defend her unified title and aims to break the record for the most knockouts in women's boxing history when she faces Lucrecia Manzur on August 21 at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.

The fight will feature the unified WBA and WBO world featherweight titles and marks a significant milestone as it will be the first unified women's world title fight contested over 12 two-minute rounds. Additionally, this championship event will be broadcast live on TikTok, a first for boxing.

Serrano, 37, recently equaled the record for the most knockouts (32) in women's boxing history with her second-round stoppage of Cheyenne Hanson in May. Her current record stands at 49-4-1 with 32 knockouts. Meanwhile, Manzur, aged 27, has a record of 14-4 with seven knockouts.

Serrano expressed her commitment to elevating women's boxing, stating, "I've dedicated my career to creating opportunities for women's boxing and bringing our sport to the biggest stages possible... this partnership gives us the chance to introduce our sport to a massive global audience in a completely new way."

In contrast, Manzur shared her excitement about facing Serrano, acknowledging her as a true icon of the sport. "I have tremendous respect for everything Amanda has accomplished... but once we step into the ring, my focus is on winning."

Also featured on the fight card is Jahmal Harvey, a US Olympian, taking on Hammet Keb from Mexico in a six-round lightweight bout at 135 lbs.
