Ismaïla Sarr’s agent has raised concerns about the treatment of African players in the transfer market, labeling them as often perceived merely as “a commodity.” This statement follows Crystal Palace's rejection of a bid from Liverpool for the Senegalese forward and the collapse of Lamine Camara's anticipated transfer from Monaco to Chelsea on deadline day.

Crystal Palace firmly stated that Sarr, their top scorer from last season, is not for sale, despite Liverpool's interest. The 28-year-old missed the initial matches against Everton and Manchester City due to an injury, leading to speculation about his future and the subsequent deletion of references to Liverpool from his social media.

On the same day, Monaco withdrew from a £47 million deal for Camara, citing a change in circumstances regarding Folarin Balogun's potential move to Everton. This left Chelsea frustrated, as they believed a written agreement was in place.
