Steelers Eye Miami QB Carson Beck in 2026 Draft Amid Quarterback Uncertainty

Ty Simpson, considered the No. 2 QB prospect, may still be available at 24.5 draft position, with odds of the Steelers drafting him at +1600. Though they last selected a QB in the first round with Kenny Pickett in 2022, the focus may shift to Beck, who showed promise with the Canes last season but has faced criticism for decision-making. The Dolphins are favored at +300 to select Beck, with the Steelers close behind at +330. With 12 picks in total, including No. 53 and three in the third round, the Steelers are well-positioned to target Beck or other quarterbacks in later rounds. Their needs also include receiver, offensive line, and safety, with potential picks like Jordyn Tyson and Omar Cooper Jr. being considered for their first-round selection.
