Rodri, who exited the match in the 88th minute and was replaced by Nico Gonzalez, has recently showcased his best form as City enjoyed four consecutive wins in all competitions. With a crucial Premier League clash against Burnley on Wednesday and an FA Cup semi-final against Southampton on Saturday, Guardiola faces the possibility of being without his key midfielder. He stated: “The doctors will make tests later or tomorrow.” Guardiola, whose team remains in second place, three points behind Arsenal but with a game in hand, expressed relief at staying competitive in the title race after the win. He noted: “We have hopes and still extend the chance to fight until the end. We were not in our best, I give a lot of credit to them but we are alive, we are there. Everybody is pushing.” Despite the victory, Guardiola downplayed any suggestions that City are now favorites, reminding everyone, “Who is top of the league?
