Rangers Coach Danny Röhl Stays Committed Amid Bundesliga Speculation

Danny Röhl insists his full focus is on Rangers and winning titles in the future despite speculation linking him with a move to the Bundesliga. The Ibrox head coach, who took charge in October, has reportedly become a target for Wolfsburg to replace veteran boss Dieter Hecking. After guiding Rangers back into the Scottish Premiership title race, a recent defeat to Hearts means they are likely to end another season without a trophy. Ahead of Sunday's Old Firm clash with Celtic, Röhl stated, "My full focus is on Rangers. There are a lot of rumours. I look back last year with how many clubs I was linked, I could get maybe 20 jobs in the newspaper." He emphasized that recent conversations with the club center around how to win titles in the future. Following back-to-back Premiership defeats, pressure has mounted on the German coach, who has expressed his ambition to work in the top-flight in his homeland. When asked about his future at Ibrox, Röhl confirmed, "From my side, of course, 100 per cent. I'm convinced. I chose this club for the reason to bring it back to success and win titles." Rangers must secure a victory at Celtic Park on Sunday to maintain their hopes of finishing second and qualifying for the Champions League. Röhl reflected on his last visit to Parkhead, which ended in a 3-1 victory, and noted, "It's a special game for us. Nobody needs extra motivation to go in this game. We want to make our supporters proud." He remains optimistic, stating, "We showed we can do that. That's when we really felt the belief that even when things don't go right in a game we can turn them in the right direction."
