Jordan Addison's Trespassing Charge Dropped, Legal Troubles Continue

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison had a misdemeanor trespassing charge dismissed by Florida state attorney Susan Lopez. The charge originated from an incident at Noodle Bar in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on January 12. Security personnel had asked Addison to leave multiple times, but he did not comply, leading to his arrest shortly after police were called at 3:42 a.m. ET. Addison was booked at 7:33 a.m. and released later that day at 2:40 p.m. after posting a $500 cash bond. Following the dismissal of the charge, Addison's attorney, Brian Pakett, expressed relief, stating, "We are thrilled we were able to bring the truth to light quickly. This poor young man's name was being dragged through the mud over frivolous allegations and absolutely zero smoke or fire. He did nothing legally wrong." In addition to this incident, Addison has faced other legal issues: Arrested on suspicion of DUI in July 2024 after falling asleep at the wheel near Los Angeles International Airport. Pleaded guilty to a "wet reckless" offense, leading to two misdemeanor charges and a three-game NFL suspension for the 2025 season. Received a citation for speeding and reckless driving in July 2023 for driving 140 mph in a 55-mph zone. Addison's agent, Tim Younger, mentioned the possibility of filing a civil lawsuit for false arrest, highlighting the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the player.
