Bayern Munich Clinches 35th Bundesliga Title with Thrilling 4-2 Victory Over Stuttgart

Bayern Munich clinched their 35th German league title on Sunday, defeating Stuttgart 4-2 and establishing an unassailable 15-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund with four games remaining in the season. The match saw Bayern initially fall behind to a goal from Chris Führich in the 21st minute, courtesy of an assist from Bilal El Khannouss. However, the Bavarians quickly turned the match around, scoring three goals in a remarkable six-minute spell: Raphaël Guerreiro equalized in the 31st minute after a brilliant solo run from Jamal Musiala. Nicolas Jackson put Bayern ahead just two minutes later. Alphonso Davies capped the first-half comeback with a goal in the 37th minute. In the second half, substitute Harry Kane extended the lead with a close-range effort just seven minutes after the restart. Stuttgart managed to pull one back through Chema Andrés late in the game, but it was not enough to change the outcome. Reflecting on the victory, Kane stated, "It’s been a fantastic season for us... all the hard work, this makes it all worth it." With this win, Bayern has shattered the all-time league record for goals scored in a single campaign, reaching 101 goals with four matches still to play. As the Bundesliga's leading scorer with 32 goals, Kane aims to challenge Robert Lewandowski's record of 41 goals in a season. Under the management of Vincent Kompany, who took over in 2024, Bayern has successfully regained their dominance in the league after facing stiff competition from Bayer Leverkusen.
