Over his extensive career, Dalton has played for several teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, and New Orleans Saints. In 2025, he made one start, completing 16 of 24 passes for 175 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception, during a tough 40-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. Despite the addition of Dalton, Hurts remains the clear starter for Philadelphia, with Tanner McKee still on the roster as the primary backup. The acquisition of Dalton is particularly significant as the Eagles adjust to new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, who will be calling plays for the first time in his career.
