The Catalan trail running team achieved a historic milestone at the European Championship held in Slovenia, securing a remarkable total of eight medals. Jan Torrella claimed the title of European Champion in the Up&Down (13K) event, finishing with a time of 1:00:09. He also contributed to a bronze medal for the team alongside the RFEA. In a standout performance, Maria La Chica made an impressive debut, earning silver in the long-distance race (52K) and another bronze in the team competition.
