Arsenal and PSG Compete for Bournemouth's Rising Star Eli Junior Kroupi

Arsenal faces fierce competition from Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Eli Junior Kroupi, a promising 19-year-old forward from Bournemouth. Kroupi made waves last season by scoring 13 goals in his debut Premier League campaign, setting a record for the most goals scored by a teenager in their first season. The Independent reports that Arsenal is looking to bolster their squad with three or four new signings this summer, while also preparing for an equal number of departures. However, the Premier League champions must contend with PSG, who recently triumphed over Arsenal in a penalty shootout during the Budapest final. Both clubs have also set their sights on Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez. Although Alvarez prefers a move to Barcelona, the Spanish giants currently cannot meet the financial demands. PSG is ready to pay Atletico’s asking price of €125m (£108m) for Alvarez and is now firmly in the mix for Kroupi’s signature. In addition to Kroupi, Arsenal is eyeing Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa as part of Mikel Arteta's strategy to build on the club’s first Premier League title in 22 years. However, Villa hopes to retain their star player, as PSG, Manchester United, and Chelsea are also interested in Rogers.
